William K. Abell graduated from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 1979 after receiving a Bachelors degree from Troy State University cum laude in 1973. During law school, Bill was a member of Sigma Delta Kappa. Upon graduation, he went on to practice in the areas of criminal, civil and domestic litigation. Today, Bill is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts of Alabama and practices primarily in the area of catastrophic injury claims, workers compensation and personal injury. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association; is a member of the Alabama State Bar; the Association of Trial lawyers of America; and the Montgomery county Trial Lawyers. Bill has served as a featured speaker at seminars throughout the state in the area of workers compensation and is a regular television guest on WAKA Channel 8's LawLine. He has won many six-figure verdicts for his clients and recently obtained a $4.5 million dollar jury verdict on behalf of an injured worker.
